ישראל תארח הערב את נבחרת רוסיה באצטדיון רמת גן בשעה 20:00 במסגרת מוקדמות מונדיאל 2014
לאחר התיקו של ישראל עם אז'רבייגאן ,אנחנו חייבים ניצחון הערב על נבחרת רוסיה למרות הפערים בין הנבחרת שלנו לנבחרת הרוסית עדיין אפשר לנצח אותן ברמת גן נבחרת רוסיה היא לא נבחרת ספרד או ברזיל וללא ספק אפשר לנצח אותם למרות הנחיתות של השחקנים,ישראל צריכה לשחק על הקרקע וללכת על כדורים חכמים ולא לשחק עם משחק ההגבהות שלא נותן לנו שום דבר,גוטמן כמובן צריך לפתוח הערב עם תומר חמד חלוץ מיורקה הנמצא בכושר שיא ויכול להקביע גולים מאפס מצבים ומהצד השני לפתוח גם איתי שכטר שניהם יחד בחוד יעשו חיים קשים מאוד להגנה הרוסית,נקווה שהערב יהיה לנו נחת קצת מהנבחרת שאיכזבה אותנו בשנים האחרונות.
